Okay, I'm going to give you the same advice I gave Meg because its what I did. Go on myuca and look at the 3 act structure and apply its fundamentals to your idea.
Right now it feels a little mish-mashy, why is he flying helium balloons to the morgue? is he carrying the body on them? is this a gag? if so what is the punch line?
You could always try the atypical murder gig. A trick the Magician is famous for goes wrong & ends up killing his assistant. Personally I still think you should consider reverse chronology...
