Life drawing 3

Yesterday we were using charcoal to draw using tone instead of sharp lines. I had a lot of fun trying to do something different from what I usually do.

Essay - introduction

For the topic of this essay is exploration of how vampires have changed over the centuries and how their behaviour or appearance depend on culture they originate from. Vampires as well as many other things surrounding modern world haven't remained unchanged, what have not changed is the fact that vampires are creatures who feed on life force, which is usually blood of ordinary people or other vampires. The main points are going to be supported by books, movies and myths: The Vampyre 1819 written by John Polidori, Dracula 1897 by Bram Stoker, folklore vampire myths, Twilight 2008 Director: Catherine Hardwicke Writers: Melissa Rosenberg (screenplay), Stephenie Meyer (novel). Apart from those materials this essay will contain thoughts about modern view on vampires and how they are presented in different mediums.

Photoshop drawing

Right now I have an overall idea of what I'm going to draw for my final hybrid :) Here I've got my drawing from photoshop lesson.
